Hope Soccer Festival
 
The Hope Soccer Festival is an annual fundraiser held the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Teams play a round robin of 4v4 games and enjoy the Skills Zone, Kids Zone. Families and spectators enjoy the Kid Zone, Food Court, and other parts of the festive atmosphere.
 
Purpose: All funds go to the Ndarudiyire Mariam Education Fund.
Divisions: U6 through 35+

Community
More than 1,000 players have participated in the Hope Soccer Festival since 2014.
 
Scholarship
The Hope Soccer Festival has raised about $30,000 in its six years of existence.
 
This money has been used to pay for educational expenses at Virginia Western Community College, Roanoke College, University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, Radford University, West End Center, Roanoke City Public Schools, Roanoke City Parks and Recreation, and Roanoke Natural Foods Cooperative.
 
Soccer
The Festival tries to capture everything that is good about the game of soccer from a sporting and social sense.
